Payments of registration fees in Euros (€) can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard) or Paypal. Online registration and payment by credit card are made on a secure server.

Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees

During the registration process you are required to insert Invoice Details. This information will appear on the pro forma invoice you receive by email when completing the registration process. The invoice will be sent by email within 15 days from your registration.


All amendments or cancellations should be submitted by email to

Cancellations will be accepted within July 30th, 2024. Before this date the 50% of the amount will be refunded. Please note that bank administration fees will not be reimbursed. All reimbursements will be sent after the congress within 60/90 days. The organizing secretariat  will not be financially liable for individuals affected by travel restrictions.

IEEE IFETC 2024 will be hosted in the DAMSLab, a laboratory aimed at promoting culture at an urban level. Designed and managed by the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna, DAMSLab is an open space bringing different areas of knowledge into dialogue.

It is located by the prestigious film library Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna. The entrance square of DAMSLab is a multifunctional space, suitable for small events, such as live performances, art exhibitions and workshops.

Located in the city center, DAMSLab is just a 13-minute walk from the train station of Bologna and it is connected by excellent transport links.

The following transit lines have routes that pass near DAMSLab – Dipartimento Delle Arti:

The average temperature in Bologna in September ranges from a high of 85°F (29°C) to a low of 62°F (17°C). Some would describe it as very warm with a gentle breeze.

Most hotels, car-rental agencies, shops, pharmacies, entertainment venues and restaurants accept VISA and MasterCard. Amex isn’t widely accepted and Diner’s is often not accepted.

Pharmacies are open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 19:30. Most of them are closed on Sundays, but there is always one pharmacy in an area that is open 24/7.
